Start with the wall and the specified masonry unit
Masonry quantities begin with the wall elevations, openings, and block module established for the project. A block count cannot determine whether a wall should be load-bearing, reinforced, grouted, fire-rated, or built with a particular unit. Confirm those decisions before treating a material estimate as an order.
Keep installed quantities and ordering decisions visible
ConstructGauge separates the calculated base quantity from whole-unit rounding and any allowance you choose for cuts, corners, damage, bond patterns, or site conditions. Supplier pallet sizes, mortar coverage, rates, and currency labels stay optional so regional product assumptions are not silently added to the geometry.
